Designing and building an airliner a day (per non-working day)
Hello modelers,
I've thought about it long and hard and have decided that it is time to start releasing my designs, I've waited long enough in doing so anyway... This thread is for the purpose of that and I hope this thread will be very active and very big as well.... (Sort of like Bruno's "One model per non-working day".) I hope it doesn't seem I am copying Bruno, because I have no intent on copying his work. All my models are my own 100% design. The first model I will be releasing is a 1:200 Boeing 737-200F in the livery of Lufthansa Cargo. (The same model as seen in this thread: Boeing 737-100 (test build) (TAP Civil Aviation Series, 1:200) (I know its a 737-100 guys and gals... It goes together the same though.) The model is 2D with 3D engines and flap track fairings, they're relatively easy to build and come with wing spars for supporting the wings. No landing gear yet. Enjoy the thread.... Thanks guys and gals! (The first model is being uploaded now to the download section, when its up I'll post a link. I will also do a test build later. I know it goes together but I haven't built it with the livery.) -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) Last edited by RunwayOneSixRight; 11-04-2014 at 02:34 PM. Reason: I changed the title of the thread. |

Hi modelers (again),
I decided to just upload the file here.... If you have any questions about the model feel free to private message me anytime- instructions are included within the PDF file. Thanks! -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

Don't worry about your project. I don't mind at all.
It's a big challenge to deliver a model every day so I wish you all the best to keep up the pace. Perhaps you can capture the attention that is waning rapidly in my thread (It is already on page 2 ) Bruno PS: if I'm correct Lufthansa was one of the first users of the B737-100. |

Actually yes they were the first users, I still need to do some things on the 737-100 file but I know Lufthansa will be the release livery. Why I chose to release the -200 file first I have no clue. -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |

I just noticed an issue with the main doors.... The oval/rectangle under the door should be under the door, not on top... Here is the corrected files... (My apologies.) I also stretched the doors just a bit.

Going to do a test build of the Lufthansa and Pan Am models I recolored tomorrow, I'd like to today but I am far too tired. I also apologize but here is the corrected file again. I am really getting myself off to a rocky start aren't I?Sorry for the horrible lighting... I really want to know what liveries you want to see on the Boeing 737-100 and -200. If you can, please post some pictures below and I will be happy to recolor my model into the airline and release it through here.
My new Lufthansa Cargo Boeing 737-200. Here is another one for the airline Pan Am. Another random picture of both models. -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |
