Yep that's the one I will do if q-5 wins. I'm a big fan of stalharts models, in fact I'm making his f-18 while typing this

BTS build report---f-18

BTS build-stalhart hornets

The hornets fly very well. I heard someone say they flew(cant remember who they were, but all credit to them) and I decided to risk the landing gear for a little experimentation. It flew at a nice glide for 30 feet, I was impressed! The landing was very soft, although it did begin to stall a little (stall-hart) and eventually got into a dive before stabilizing out. I'm still looking for suggestions of air to air/ground/both configurations

Behind the Building Scenes for Paperengineer-resizedimage_1416167414511_zps93c05583.jpg
Done with first Hornet. Now after adding armament I will be able to move on to the next three. Sorry about the blurry sidewinder it didn't focus for some reason.

Yup, that'd be me. I've always been fascinated by the innovation involved in early all-weather/night aircraft, and the Intruder fits the bill. Another favorite is the F3D Skynight, both soldiered on as early EW aircraft, another favorite.
