I use 170 gsm double sided Letraset inkjet cardboard, which is specialy for inkjetprinters, and for the X15 I spay a Glossy acrillic varnish in a couple of layers as I work along..

Thanks billy for the info. The reason why I asked paper type is moderately shining surface looks nice. I will try glossy acrylic varnish

I built the kit a couple of months ago. Everything fit very nicely and the finished model is impressive. Mine is now in the Paper Models Exhibit at the EAA Museum on Oshkosh, WI.
Not a beginner kit but should be no problem for an intermediate modeler. I had to puzzle out a few details in the cockpit; better drawings or more photos would have been helpful. But that's a minor complaint about a fine kit. A big "Thank you" and "Well Done!" to Ken West.
