Nakajima KI-27
Things to do when touring to work.....I work overseas flying helicopters in the offshore industry six weeks at a time. Card modelling is a great way to pass the time during off hours. The Nakajima KI-27 Nate (from ecardmodels.com) was significant in Miri, Malaysia (where I work) in that during the initial occupation of Borneo, it was the mainstay Japanese Army fighter. Not far from the airfield that I work from, is an abandoned strip that the Japanese used throughout the war.....maybe some old KI-27 parts lying there, dunno.

Excellent model. You have an interesting and rewarding job. It's nice to be able to visit some of the areas where this history was made.

Very nice work, it's nice to have a link to the model you've built.
