Scud 2 glider, 1/72, Scissorsandplanes
As promised, I have put the Scud 2 from Scissorsandplanes at the top of my building list.
So here is the model. It is resized to 1:72. I have made a cockpit in the fuselage and transparent panels for the rear of the wing. It is really an excellent model of a very interesting machine (the oldest airworthy english glider). Abbott-Baynes Scud 2 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Thank you again, Bruno. |

That is a great model - and well made! The transparent wing really adds to the "feel" of the model.
Somehow though, I thought it would be much larger in 1/72!

Oh how small! The first photos didn't prepare me for the 'hand-shot'. Wow, Jan. Wonderful. Well built. It almost looks as if it could be flyable.
