Interesting working places guys! You don't need much for paper modeling, luckily. My space is just a simple desk in the study room .

Nice thread....I model where I can in the house....but it pretty much has to be put away after each session.

The modeling stuff is in the cabinets when not in use as well as the table/desk cleared off....gotta keep the significant other happy.

Work off the dining room table. Then pack all the tools away in a Tupperware box (or two).

Generally I can leave it in the dining room table, which is pretty big - plenty of space left for eating etc.

Hi Falco,

Yes, that's a small hair drier to dry glue. For especially joints without gluing tabs ("butt welds") I prefer to use white paper glue. This is water based type of glue and a hair drier comes in very handy to accelerate the drying process. Sway it just 10-20 seconds or so across the parts to be dried and that's already enough. I saw on A380's picture also a black hair drier. Be nice to your wife and she may even donate it to you for indefinite use....

Best regards,
Erik

Okay, I'm in!

I have the entire upstairs of the house as mancave/studio/lair/den/whatever. I build on a portable work table adjacent to the computer desk. Printer is off to the right with TV/DVD. I usually build standing up - it's more confortable than it sounds.
