Check out this plane in action in the movie Von Ryan's express.

Here is the film trailer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NxCHiZ-UxOI

The airplane is really supposed to be Me-109s, but they are using the Me-108.

I believe a Bucher Jungmann was the a/c used in "The Great Escape", a similar type but w/o retracts...

If you sealed the parts with a dull coat you could use a waterslide decal of the swastica on the tail. ive done it before with other paper kits and havent had an issue.

Beautiful model!

A pair of Bf-108 Taifuns were also used in the film "The Longest Day" to represent the aircraft flown by Luftwaffe Major Josef "Pips" Priller and his wingman, Heinz Wodarczyk, when they made one of the few German attacks against the Normandy beachhead on 6 June 1944. In actuality, Priller and his wingman flew FW-190s in that attack.

This plane looks like the living. The comparism with the Me-109 is also great. Looks very similar.

For me it is a bit pity that Me-108 was overshadowed by war and known only as an aircraft at first glance similar to 109... It is forgotten that 108 was intended to be a 4-seat sports-recreation aircraft with great flight characteristics for that era.

@the paperguy ; I thought printing on 60g paper or use decal as you advice ; since it's the book and not a scan/print colour can hold a little bit of water ; will buy some to test.

@sharunas
Agree, I didn't know much about this plane few month ago.

Thanks all for your comments and links to videos
