A few months ago, I promised to illustrate how I “weather” the pieces I build. Here, you can see three photos on this subject: a) aluminum paint, black gouache and resin wheel. (I chose not to build wheels because the precision wouldn’t reach the level I hope). Gouache offer the possibility to erase or add shades without modifying the base colour. b) I also join three photos of landing gears.

Wow, that's simply stunning. It's amazing you have the patience (and time?) to add all these fantastic details to this already extremely detailed model. The weathering looks very realistic, it's hard to believe this is all paper.
