Hi card modeler, I see that it's flying, because these "noses" have shattered. Good luck, and regards.

You are right my friend! You can see the glorious scars!

This is one of the biggest concerns in my project.

I attempt to solve the “plane´s sugar nose” going to build it with latex.

That is my best solution to deal with the problem until now.

I think the "noses" of flying models should be made from wood as well like weight balance too.

Thank you for the advice.

It is a good solution. I have building many balsa flying models all my life since I was nine years old. All of my balsa models get wooden nose, but all the body is balsa too.

I think it is a homogeneous structure working very well with crash events.

But with my little card model flyers, the latex could be a good shock absorber,

and very good weight balance too, so I can mold many noses for the many models of the

same type, I want to crash and destroy, until I would obtain the correct shape,

balance and good flying.

What do you think about? All your advices are very useful to me.

My first card model finished.
Checked and proven.

A simple little model, 5 1/2 inches log and same zize wingspan, based on an ancient design.

I build it with vinyl card.

It is nearly "indestructible" and get a slingshot rubber band in the nose.

It is a great flyier.

You can see it at:

I want to be able to make my next well done model now.
