Horten Ho X - Fiddlers Green in 1/100
I made in only four hours, watching the soccer matchs of sunday from regional (state) chanpionship league...
I show the Horten Ho X the glider version of Ho-229. This beautiful model is design from Kancho Iliev for Fiddlers Green. Ho X is a research workbench for pressurized system and aerodinamical studies. Is not a luft 46, because RLM use for tests and research in years of 1942 to 1945. |

Looks good!
A small correction: This is the Ho IX V1, the first prototype of the Ho IX better known as the Go 229. It was indeed a powerless version. The Ho IX V2 was completed with two jet engines and saw testflights, until one of the engines failed, and killed the test pilot at the crash. The Ho IX V3 was an almost completed prototype most similar to what could have been the serial version. There were also finished metal frames for more prototypes (I think at least 3), which include a night-fighter version. The Ho X is a different design. Thorsten |
