I too have this kit! I've been waiting to see the F-16 be built to problem solve anything. I haven't done many kits with full formers other than Marek's P-38J.

The thought of the red lines as a bevel marking intrigues me. Hopefully someone will figure out the mystery.

Thank you for the kind words milenio3, Isaac, Yoav, Nobi and Willy
I've finally found some decent cardboard ( and thankfully big enough because some parts of the structure are pretty big or wide, especially the wing spars.)

The main structure is very different compared to the F-5N which has only formers.
Here the bone structure is more complex.
This is a critical part because every gap can cause holes or can give to the final aircraft a twisted shape
Anyway. Today I don't have pictures because I just have glued the formers on cardboard . I will take pictures when I will be building the whole strucutre ( weird sentence, I'm a bit confus about the verbs )
Regards,
Ronan

HI everyone and thank you Erik for your support!
Today I've started to build the main inner structure.

I like this type of assembly, it gives strength to the skeleton.
It's a shame I don't have a good cardboard, as you can see the edges of some sharp sides of the formers are a bit damaged .
For now I don't think that's will be a problem later.

Stay tuned for a next update soon
Regards,
Ronan .

Cardboard consists of layers and you can't avoid splitting at the ends. I usually rub in some white glue with my fingers and shape the cardboard in the process to bring laminate the edges again. Give it a try!

Cheers,
Erik

Good work man! I see you've suffered through the most monotonous part, the formers. Keep going!

Ronan,

I think it was Airdave or Vermin King that gave me a trick, use superglue on the edges of the cardboard.

Hi Everyone.
My name is Irek and I designed this model for paperaircraftmodels.com and I will try to
answer every questions about it.
First about red dashed lines.
These lines indicates the place where should be glued strip for linking outside parts of model.
Another word strip which make formers little bit wider.
There also is a dotted line on part VI and X which indicates placements of different parts.
When it comes to wires templates I fix this on assembly instruction and here I attach image with correct size of templates.
Thank you very much for your interest in my model and I wish nice and successful build.

Thank you very much Irek! It will help very much. I've been wanting to do the Thunderbirds build for some time now.
