i remember a great kit in my plastic modeler days of the thunderbird f16s mounted through a perspex disc so it appeared they were in flight.

Hey..Herky that's could be a good idea..the tripodmast could be done sometime using transparent plastic sheet material..but the difficulty i see is the bonding line with plenty of glue..not so esthetic.. !

Hello Elliott, first of all i have to build the 3rd plane to finish the diorama, then i plan to share the tripo mast if of interest to any one. (?)
two option.. i could load a pdf file in the thread (simple way) or to share it in the Download section, but i never done such a thing, so i don't how to do it.. what is your thinking..?
