I made mine for the display at the convention. I took a larger sheet of foam board and glued down a sheet of poster board that was textured like concrete. I then used yellow Tamiya tape to make the lines on the sides of the runway.

1:100 scale, but it looks big at the pictures...very nice work...good for you.

Beautiful, and does it bring back a memory. I was working in the A.F. Museum at Travis AFB. I was the *only* one that day who had flown a plane (Cessna 150/152, 172) and knew how to *steer* the Globemaster on the ground and knew the brakes are. Had to move the C-124 from one part of the base yo another. They hooked up a tug and off we went. Didn't have a follow mw jeep, but a guy walking backwards with flags to tell me what to do. One of the best haf hours of my life. Months later did the same with an A-26. Guy at my church flew a C-124 out of Okinawa.
