Mitsubishi Ki-1 Type 93 Murphs Models 1/100 Beta
Another nice addition to my nippon 1/100 collection!
In time this time is an esoteric, unknown, but noisy medium bomber from Imperial Japanese Army Aviation of the interwar period. The Mitsubishi Ki-1 Type I 93 was developed from the Junkers S36 produced in Sweden in the late 20 Japanese adapted this model (which was a civilian plane) for military applications notably bomber, inserted using a pair of Rolls Royce Buzzard engines and a number of other minor changes. Obsolete at the time of its introduction (1931), Ki-1 had a poor performance, including being unable to fly with one engine something vital to a bomber). After production of about 45 units production moved to Ki-1 II variant with redesigned wings, landing gear and engine nacelles in the Rolls Royce Eagle. It was then used in conjunction and after replaced by Mitsubishi Ki-2, BR-20 by Fiat and the Ki-21 in 1936. Ki-1/2 was called by the combined system identification code names in World War II "Luise" ( Luisa)and were used in Manchuria and the first Sino-Japanese War with limited results. During World War II, some were assigned to Manchukuko and others were used in secondary tasks in metropolitan Japan. Comparation with other japan airplanes of period in same scale... With Nakajima Type 91NC I... With Kawazaki Ki-10II... With Kawazaki Ki-32I "Mary" On my display... Until the next model... Last edited by rickstef; 05-05-2015 at 02:06 PM. |

I finally got it put up on my site (driving a bus isn't physically taxing, but it sure drains you by the end of the day.)

It's a beautiful model of an airplane with a lot of character.
You have built a splendid independent flying company (dokoritsu chutai). Don |
