Fine work!

Sounds like high academic times in West Jakarta!

I myself have one more week of teaching, then I hope to dig in on a lot of projects, including my Marek I-16 in Republic of China markings, inspired by this fine build.

Let's kick up some dirt!

Finished the rest of cockpit parts, with additional harness:

And give a dash of weathering:

1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262592.jpg1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262593.jpg1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262594.jpg1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262595.jpg
1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262596.jpg1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262597.jpg1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262599.jpg1/50 Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 Conversion-p7262600.jpg

Exhaust stacks are already fitted at this point, as well as the gun barrels and pitot tube. Left-upper exhaust port has twin stack from no.1 and no.2 cylinders

I try not to overdone the weathering like my A6M3 built, for this one i only did weathering effect on these key points:
-Paint chipping on wing fairing near the cockpit where pilot get in / out of aircraft and area near cowling and gun cover, where mechanics usually works
-Dirt and oil stains usually accumulate near tight corners, panel joints, and control surface hinges
-Soot from exhaust stacks and gun barrels
