Of many, there is 1 in 1/144
Here is my latest. The 15,000 anniversary P-40. Original kit is the ModelArt P-40N,
repainted by Roger Accurso (rowiac). Excepting the wonderful paint, it is presented with all its uglies. I even tried something new, using Krylon gloss overcoat. I rather like it. Ray

One look at the title of this thread and I knew where it came from...hehehe. Good work on both ends.

Looks great Ray!
I love that gloss spray, just got to be careful with glue smears, krylon will reveal them.

Nice Work
Ray,
Very nice work. I've found that the Krylon spray preserves the paper surface even when working the edges to round out a wing tip. The paper would have just pulped and disintegrated without it. +Gil |

Looooove it! The pics seem a bit grainy though - is that the camera or the coating? How many coats of krylon did ya put on there?

Thanks y'all.
- Chris, The graininess is a combination of the camera and the picture size reduction process. I am still working out how to take really good pics with it (Only the second or third kit I have taken pictures of with the new camera). I dusted on a couple of light coats before building, then a couple of nice coats after construction. - Phil, by spraying the sheets before assembly, any glue streaks you do get on the parts will simply rub off. It's great like that. And, just dusting on the first couple of coats maintains the flat finish of a regular military paint scheme. Anyone who can help me with the photography issue, please speak up with your suggestions! Ray

Man this is TINY!
I bet you could use a dollar bill as an actual airfield :D As for the photos... Try to take the photo from a bit farther away then crop the surrondings so only the plane is the shot. This way you will reduce the overall size of the photo and then resize it to 800 x 600. Don't use compression settings for JPG, most likely this is the problem.
