Thank you all for the nice comments. Yes, I too wish they were still in business. I would have loved a 707 in that scale. A 747 would have been over the top.
One thing I do remember is that it was such an easy build. Well thought out and designed. I'm actually a licensed A&P mechanic and have worked on the 727, so many of the details were spot on. |

I would loved to see what it looked it in the box. Would also fancy making one, but with the weather here I think it may wilt a bit. Did you spray it with anything to protect it?

I'm not sure I understand. The model was 1/48 scale. It's about 38 inches long, which scales out about right to the real thing that was 153 feet long.
