Nice gear! When I make the wings on p-40s and a-1's and the like mine just flop around and look... less than suitable for combat. Thanks for the technique! I'm sure it will come in handy soon

I used to build a lot of plastic kits, and my favorite part was painting. So now that I've taken up paper models, I still enjoy painting them by hand. I will get to the painting portion shortly.
I should mention that the horizontal tail was shaped using the same process as the wings, only using a single spar instead of two. Also, the camber of the horizontal tail is inverted, so that the top surface is flat and the bottom is curved. Here she is assembled but unpainted. |

Thank you Don, and Paperengineer. I use arcylic paint and also poster color paint.
Started off with 2nd Squadron's artwork, and then the roundels. |

Don't worry, I'm aware that the Flying Tigers didn't use winter camouflage. It's only half painted.

It looks great. It takes skill to paint a paper model in that fashion. I like the walk around video.
