Thanks Don I would like to hear some of your Hurricane stories.. .I'm not sure what the ratio of Hurricanes to Spits were flying in say July 1940....I think the relatively sluggish Hurricane was a wonder though compared to the Fury....

Thanks Yoav, I'd like to thank you also for great instructions for vac forming
I made one based on yours and have made 2 canopies for models now, your instructions were clear enough for actual production of canopies right off that look very good, am using plaster although the smallest scratches on the mold (or bubbles...) must be removed for a perfect one.
Thank you for your help on that.

Hi Glen, very well done. Your Hurricane looks outstanding. I have the KK Hurricane on my stack, as well as the Orlik Mk II Hurricane, who did service in North Africa. Both models look very attractive and I hope to find time in the next 10 years or so (... too many other building priorities I guess...) to complete them. The models look very attractive and I would recommend them for sure.

Regards,
Erik

Thanks Erik I looked longingly at the KK, since I love the work of the designer, but was curious about the Halinski how it would build up. The detail in the gear bay is impressive on this one, and like the other H kits the model is very solid when built. I have not seen a build of the Orlik model, or who designed it..but I have the Mosquito on my stack......

Very nice build, Birder.
If I may ask, are those resin tires?

who doesn't ! I think I'm buying 5 to 10 times more kits I have time to build ... and since there is always something new ....

@birder : This is really nice build.

Thanks Matthew no my usual wood ones, home made on my wood lathe, is enjoyable work. Very similar ones can be spun out of card, though. I was going to flatten one edge but never did.
