i wonder if he would care if someone did a number change or how would i even go about asking him??? i just want it for my personal use...i have tons of British stuff in a displat cabinet and just want it for that

Got it done....... just need to know where to send it.

If anyone knows how to contact Yuki, let me know and I'll send him the file to approve and post up if he wants to. If not it will go only to nscaletrain2008.

Being able to pull it into Inkscape helped.......copying the decal was easy. I used the colors from the decal so I hope they are correct, if not it's easy to change them.

Looking closely at Yuki's site, it hasn't been updated in three years. Does anyone know if he is still around? I for one would love to have the Talon he had on there as a future release. The Hawk was released in 2007.

Since this was a free model to begin with and there is no statement on his website stating not to modify the file; I would like to release this repaint with wording on it stating that it is his model, designed by him, with his website and his copyright on it, much like what has been done with Paper-Replika models.

I would like his permission, if that is possible.

I will submit it to the download section and if there isn't a problem from the admins then it will be made public......

I will send a copy to nscaletrain2008 because it was requested by them, anyone else wanting a copy will have to wait for it to be put in the download section.

Well the repaint is now in the download section......... I need a good picture to add to it.......... if anyone does build it please send me a picture to use for the download section. I will acknowledge your contribution.

Just curious, why didn't you leave it as a vector file?
