a quick update. I done few parts of the fuselage.
It wasn't recommended but I added some weigh on the nose. Though I were careful to align with the cockpit back plate, I managed to end close to 1mm too much ahead - according to the wing - . I can really explain it. By pushing 1mm to the back, the top part - the ring on the back of the sit - wouldn't be able to cover the inner cockpit. Anyway, this mistake should be fixable, will see. continuing with the nose and back engine.

Got to see the 335 at the Smithsonian, and it's HUGE!! till you stand by it you never understand just how BIG it is. Mine is a Models by Marek from Ecardmodels. They have like 6 "what-if" paint jobs as well. Not as detailed as yours but still good models. Your build is looking GREAT so far. It's to bad there is only one 335 left in the world it was such a cool plane.......Rich

hi,
@ Isaac : this is 1g bb (just steel coasted for airsoft) @richkat : seen the i16 at vantaa I thought it was massive indeed and not that tiny, so when I see both on my desk I image your feeling. Added the back part, air intake, top vertical stabiliser and front engine. Again no real difficulties. The 1mm ofset didn't crease trouble. Screw up painting on the front part. It's like paint is sometime spraying inside fibre. Guess I'm good for buying a second edition Also started the wings. Thank for the laser cut I prefer to go with this part first because I can align stabilizer latter. This is the bigger piece of paper on the model and where I'm usually 'break' the paper, so fingers crossed.

thanks guys, unfortunately it didn't turn that well...
It finally has its wings; Well well well.. "How to screw up a model". I was so focus on not bending to must the wings that I actually bend it not enough ! second that, the glue fix so fast this time I wasn't able to untie the part and it was too late when I noticed the angle was wrong : the 'top' part of the wing it a little too to the front (around 2mm). When adding the 'tip' (front part, between the wing and fuselage) it's become obvious . Guess I can glue that engine now, I won't need a second copy after all...

Hi dje, perhaps my eyesight's failing but I don't see any flaw. Just keep on building and you'll end up with another magnificent model!
