Hi guys, I'm back !

Hey, I know, anything can be perfect, still I was expecting to do better.
Now that glue and paint dried, I agree it's not the "disaster" I though first but it's still upsetting because this model is well done and in fact not really hard, It's not ugly, It will definitively stand on my showcase, still I know I should have done better.

So what I've done.
First ailerons, flap, elevator and top rubber are in place. Lower rubber is done but I will glue it last to avoid the model to rest on it.
Then exhaust pipes. I usually do them. Looking for some books I found a resin kit in 1:32 on a well know on-line shop. Not cheap - around 8€ with shipping - I was intrigue enough to get one. Casting is well done, just some papersand on borders to do. Thought not exactly the same, I decided to use them.
Last canopy. I used one from gpm - just available recently - . The shape fit perfectly.

Working on the gears and compressors, A+

Magnificent. I still don't see what you're talking about with the wing placement. It must be one of those miniscule mistakes that we all make. To the builder it's like a giant angry pimple on the end of the nose. To the viewer, it's invisible.

hi guys,
a little more work on the landing gear. Started the gear's doors too.
More little parts than usual but nothing really hard. Parts fit well, I laminated some of then. I was a little concern with the main landing gears stability but it's designed well to. Build around a 1mm rod and put on few mm of cardboard, it won't bend
Gears are of course resin

For the wing, angle at the fuselage is too sharp. I totally agree, minuscule mistakes mostly not noticeable but if you know the plane you can tell there something wrong , anyway, isn't what paper modelling is ?, always competing with yourself to be better every time

bye!

Looks like superb craftsmanship to me. The fuselage is remarkably smooth and the undercarriage is wonderfully detailed, clean, and precise.

Talking

final work !

No problem with the two compressors, look a little technical but they are just routine to make. Same with the rear gear's doors. For them I would recommend to double the cutting (what I didn't do) in order to get a smoother curve. A little issues with the front landing gear. All weight is on the joint between the 'arm' and the 'hand', It's re-enforced but if you look at the picture you can see it's bending. Since it's minimal I let it for now but I would recommend to use a stronger glue.

A nice kit, well designed, parts fit well,no real issues, it actually not really hard - though I kept making all those tiny mistakes - can't only recommend it.

bye
