1 inch Albatross II
Smallest paper model I've built so far. Measures just over 1 inch in length, wingspan is 1.25 inches.
The red is hand painted over the printed red as a stain to make the colour more vibrant. Luckily, I have spent years painting wargames figures, so no hassle with the painting side. Had to build the fuselage twice, as the 1st attempt was not pretty- the tail end is the tricky (for me) part of it. At least painted up the paint hides any exposed white of tabs and seams. |

Very nice tiny plane, gotham! Any plane that is an inch long tends to be very impressive, especially a biplane

Thanx for the appreciation. I just had a 'hankering' to build a WWI biplane and ended up builing this. I feel much better about it now it's painted (and all finished).
