A mule or a knife? Avia S-199 in 1:200 (design in progress)

I've been designing. It's not finished yet as I have to make a few other parts but here is a first look. That central fuselage section reminds me of my Mirage but for the rest, it's influenced by Bruno's models.

OK, the plane crashed and the engine was removed to use as a source of spare parts for other Mezeks.

to-do list:
- front fuselage (or rather engine cowlings) and a few related bits if they're not too small.
- propeller and spinner
- gun pods
- landing gear

Maybe I shouldn't have built it as boxy.

One of my favorite Israeli planes, tied with everything else they've flown.
I can't wait to bulk up my army with these!

Gracias, Pablo. Mi primer Messer es el Bf109E de Oliver Bizer pintado con rotuladores.

My first Messerschmitt is Oliver Bizer's model colored with felt tip pens. I built 4 others in the colors of my fictional air force.

Big thanks, Carlos.
Really the S-199 was not the best aeroplane for Israel.
Engines from He-111 in Bf-109 airframes, an a bad propeller.
The skill of Israel pilots was incredible for the firsts air to air victorys.
(I think the first was a Egyptian C-47 used as a bomber)

I have found this profile.
Some sources indicate that it's the plane of Modi Alon, first Israel pilot
that downed a plane in combat.

Yes, it was a C-47. Though there was a previous fight but it may have been a case of friendly fire between israeli planes. Modi Alon was credited with 2 victories that day. The plane I made is D-107, as profiled in last month's issue of le Fana de l'Aviation. Apparently, this month's issue (from what I can tell from the preview) has a profile of D-120.

I found Gaël Elégoët site this morning (the artist who made this profile). His 3-views of the S-199 will be very useful. They're clearer than the plans I've used so far.

Still missing:
- spinner
- main landing gear
- gunpods

I also remade the vertical stabilisator.

Thank you. I just finished the spinner.

Oops, I need to remove a segment. Or add it to the tab. There should be 8 segments, not 9.

edit: corrected.
