Z-326 Beta Build for Dr. Emil Zarkov

I'm building a new model from Dr. Zarkov as a beta building, the Z-326 trainer airplane.

From Wikipedia Germany: The Zlín Z-326 is based on the Z-226, differs from it, however, by the first time applied in the "Trener" series retractable gear, extended by 30 centimeters wing and a standard built-in radio. Furthermore the Z-326 on a tow hook for gliders. To increase the reach a 35 liter auxiliary tank can be carried on each wing tip.

It is indeed a very interesting model.

I thank Dr. Zarkov for trusting in me for this beta build!!

The cockpit is very delicate, and very detailed. It has some formers for the cabin, but the parts are not laminated, because the same parts combined are very sturdy.

More to come!

Wow!

It's been a while since I've last seen a Zarkov model build.

Good start, Gerardo.

Doctor Zarkov is a very meticulous designer of beautiful models. This looks like another good one.

I assume it is in 1/32 scale?

Wow... it's been a while since I posted updates for this model.

@ Isaac, yes, it's 1/32, but since is a trainer plane, it looks kind of little.

I guess I need to add more photos of the model.

There was a missing cut from where the wings are going to be attached. But no problem, I just opened them. Dr. Zarkov knows about it, and he will fix that.

My problem was that I didn't understand that I needed to laminate the base of the cockpit. The bulkheads are going to be laminated.

The Z-326 and Z-526 are now available on the Zarkov website and I have been told there will soon be civil pilot figures available for these models. They are absolutely gorgeous models to Dr. Zarkov's exacting standards and I recommend them to all.
