Ecardmodels Mig -15 bis and Mystere IIC

I attach here pics of the two in 1:48 scale. The Mig -15 is painted in the Yemen airforce color scheme which looks very simillar to the Egyptian one that has one more little star.
The Mystere IIC is painted in the typical silver colors of the 50's. The two had very simillar performance and can be compared to the Sabre in general.

Mystere IVa vs Mig -15 bis - Kadesh Operation 1956

The Mystere IVa arrived to Israel shortly before the October 1956 Kadesh operation .
Although 60 Mysteres arrived only 20 pilots were trained on it when the war started.
Therfore France send to Israel a squadron of Mystere IVa to defend Israel skys from intruders prior to the joint Moskatier operation of the Anglo -French to capture the Suez canal from Egypt. During a lightning fast operation Israel ground decence forces defeated the Egyptian army in the Sinai peninsula. Some Egyptian jet fighters came to help and a few air battles
took over . The Mystere was able to shut down 2 Mig- 15 and 1 Mig- 17 besides 4 Vampires.
The Mig -17 kill was considered a big achivement since it had an afterburner and the Mystere
didn't. Also the slower Ouragan had 1 probable kill against Mig-15 - but not a confirmed one.
Some pics of the Mystere IAFM model with KEL mig-15 . The Mystere is painted in the
typical Silver scheme and was the first paper model to appear in the Israeli airforce magazine in 1958 .The KEL Mig-15 is painted in the 1956 Egyptians markings of the Kadesh war. These markings were changed in 1958 when Egypt unified with Syria.

mig-15 Noby vs KEL

The mig-15 is one of the most important jet fighter ever produced. The production exceeds
15000 in Russia , Poland , Czech Rep. and China so it was the most produced jet ever !
Some pics of the Ecard Noby model and the KEL One. The Ecard is painted with the Yemen airforce colors and the KEL with the 1956 Egyptian airforce color scheme - both in 1:48 scale.
