PBY-5A Catalina USAF Air Sea Rescue
The last of the Cats so far, the PBY-5A USAF Air Sea Rescue, is now ready for your views. For a change, the landing gears have been skipped to make it looks like on water or in flight.
Perhaps Aaron may wish to have a look at the lettering RESCUE on the belly. The first E and SC appear incongruous with the rest. The said three alphabets look okay if flat on the template but when the fuselage is built, the alphabets on the underside seem distorted. Maybe this is a perspective problem. Papermate |

These PBYs are really beautiful.
Your builds of Aaron's models (and all your other models) are a pleasure to the eye, Papermate. And you are always ready to provide advice and encouragement to other modelers. I always look forward to your posts. Don |
