I will not go into discussion about this particular camo, let's just say that it is very controversial.

What you see below is the result of three evenings worth of work.
All parts are cut on the line as per instructions and formers are combination of three thicknesses of cardboard
* - 0.5mm
** - 1.0mm
*** - 2.0mm
Model is built following numerical sequence and follows an advice I saw on konradus site - connect the adjoining skin segments BEFORE inserting the former. This allows to better form the connection and if you are very good at cutting parts out (not me :o), you can really achieve seamless transition from one segment to another.
Forward fuselage is only dryfitted to the rest of the frame pending cockpit installation.

I am surprised that hasn't been mentioned before, and that it is not standard practice, it makes total sense when you think about it.

I will be using this tip when I start the skinning of the Liberator

Looks great so far! I'm amazed how precisely you cut the parts to make them look seamless. I'm looking forward to see how this super-detailed model turns out.

You know, I've been pondering this method in my head - you are still using the joining strips, correct? (Or does this one not have them - I don't have this plane in my collection)?
