Murph's Models - Curtiss XP-87 Blackhawk 1/50 Beta Build

Aaron's latest model for beta build, the Curtiss XP-87 Blackhawk 1/50 is now presented in a reduced form of 1/71 as a result of shrinking it to 70% of the original. Photoprint papers were used to give the glossy effect to this blackbird. If you see that the colour isn't all that black, it's probably the lighting effect. The original templates are definitely black and you'll bet it needs a lot of black ink.

Suh-weet. It's not really black. I did the usual 80% opacity on it.

Thank you guys. I was wondering why the black colour didn't turn out real black when I got out of the printshop. So that's why.

It came out really dark on my printer, until it choked on it and started printing every color but black.

Very nice building of a rare aircraft that never entered service.
