Hi Yoav, I meant to say that the pitot base covers have such a perfect looking round edge on the far side, it may be optical due to shadow effects but I was wondering how you succeeded in doing this. My experience is that if you try to make something flat (2D) into something round (3D), for smaller parts it helps to wet the paper just a little bit before shaping/embossing it. A bit of water makes paper somewhat mouldable.

hello Erik

sorry for my late response.

yes, sometimes with a little and narrow parts, i wet the back side of the part with my tongue and it helps me to shape the part easily.
i do this with pittot tubes, long missiles and once with the landing gears.

but in this case, (and you will see in the picture i will put below) that i also cut a little cuts around the parts so it will be more flexible.

regards

YOAV

these are the parts i made for the base of the pittot tube

I wanted to bookmark this build

I have printed the pages and will decide shortly about building it . There is no need for another detailed build log since Yoav did a fantastic job

Also, I need to design a nose gear Bay as well as main gear bays

I want to also add ordinance on the outer pylons and a few features

Isaac

hi Isaac,
You can download from here Wheels and instructions.
On page 14 there is an option to wheels House (But not sunk).

(Pages 13 + 14):
Index of /Yaron/Super Mystere B2 French Livery/Model Pages

(Pages 119):
Index of /Yaron/Super Mystere B2 French Livery/Instructions

Talk with Yoav about bombs in the outer pylons (from ouragan ).

Yes, I have your files great. I also have the Ouragan and can use those as well

I was also thinking of deploying the speed brake, but not yet sure .

I have not seen any photos with the flaps down, so I probably will not do it

Isaac

Question Canopy

Yoav

Please confirm if the canopy you designed for the Super Mystere and the Mystere 4A are the same? They look the same.

Is the Ouragan canopy different?

Thanks

Isaac
