Cool Curtiss P-55J Jet Ascender - Beta Test - Der Kampfflieger

Hi Gang! Is another test for Der Kampfflieger, at this time is Curtiss P-55J "Jet Ascender" a "what if" version based on a real XP-55 aircraft with a jet engine and bubble canopy. This model is avaliable soon in Ecardmodels.com, in a multi-livery kit in 1/100 scale, nice and fast model to build...

Nice "what-if" model.
Not so sure about the lateral stability with these small fins on the fuselage, knowig that the prop-version had bigger extrusions.

Without a propeller one could probably reduce the size of the fins. Props create a lot of torque and stuff like P-factor.

Is that a backwards "L" on the left side, though?

If it is backwards, it is on both sides

Yeah, that's why I didn't mention it before.

Blessed are we that have knowledgeable people in the forum!

It looks neat!

Yeah, what if "L" was not an "L" but just a pair of lines.
