Nice build Chris. Very neat and precise. Smooth too - did you use joining strips or build it as designed with glue tabs? In either case, great job. A worthy follow on to your Gloster.

I'd say Chris just built it with the tabs. He used them on the Gloster and it came out smoother than anything I've ever seen. Great job again Chris. I'd be afraid to see that thing on my 6. :D

Thanks guys . You're right willy, this was built using the original tabs on the model. This is an older Fiddlers Green kit and relatively simple to build compared to some others, but the downside of this is that they don't always fit together properly and so it proved with this one. Hence the reason reason why there are no photos of the underside of this model! Still, I think it turned out quite well considering.

Very clean build! After years of doing this I still leave glue print on my models :-(

Maybe my next Fiddles green plane? Hmmm. How many style come in the download? The ME-109 from Fiddles green has something like 7. There is just something about the Fiddles Green models I love. You did a wonderful job too.

I'm afraid this is the only colour scheme you get from Fiddlers Green for the FW-190. It's definitely in need of a re-vamp! I've built the Bf-109 too and that went together MUCH better, plus it has lots of different camouflage patterns.

Sadly it has just one color scheme and that is grossly inaccurate. I have the model and IMHO it is quite poor as to representing the real Focke Wulf. You might consider going to the Wilhelmshavener web site and buying their 190 down load. It is like my Messerschmitt and is much better. It is more complex than the FG plane which I have half-made. But it is not so hard to be bothersome. You can make it wheels up or down.

But the FG Focke Wulf here it looks very nice as a model and it is very professionally built. So it can make a nice model for what it is.

Thank you Lala . I realise that this Focke Wulf is neither very detailed nor very accurate, however I've tried to build it as well as I can and I think the end result is quite pleasing. The FW-190 has long been a favourite of mine, so I may well go ahead and download + build the Wilhelmshaven one you mentioned, thank you once again.
