1/100 BAe Hawk Mk.53

Good evening gentlemen!

While John Bowden is struggling to brought us RAF and T-45 version of ZRP's Hawk 53, i built myself a detailed hawk in 1/100
The marking is still from Indonesian air force but instead of SkU 15's 'Spirit 78' aerobatic team with LL registration (Latih Lanjut, Advanced Trainer), i repainted it to 'Jupiter Blue' team with TT registraton (Tempur Taktis, Tactical Fighter), still from SkU 15, they differ from regular aircrafts by having black marking over their noses

This one is TT-5309 on its farewell flight

So here is the fruit of last weekend work:

Still don't know how you guys build this small!!!

With the black FRADU Fly Navy already released in the download section there is a beta build of the early RAF red & white scheme in the works.........

I eagerly look forward to this one as I wasn't aware of this livery........ it is looking good so far!

Thanks gentlemen!
John, do you happen to have landing gear well for the hawk?

Managed to squeeze some modelling time and finished the fuselage tonight

1/100 BAe Hawk Mk.53-dsc_0071.jpg1/100 BAe Hawk Mk.53-dsc_0072.jpg1/100 BAe Hawk Mk.53-dsc_0073.jpg1/100 BAe Hawk Mk.53-dsc_0076.jpg

You see i did some improvement to the original fuselage, including new wheel well and airbrake well, and an all-new cockpit tub

because the seat provided is only a boxy structure, i tried to use seat from other model. i paid a quick visit to martin-baker website and learned that Mk.10 seat also used on several other aircrafts includng kfir, and yoav's model quickly came to mind

the seat used on hawk is a slightly different, lightweight Mk.10L version, but that won't be a problem to modify

Looking nice Raja. There's no way I could build at that scale.

Raja - No I have not made any wheel wells for the Hawk yet....... I plan on doing some for the Goshawk mod and also changing up the cockpit too, been working on getting the T-38 released on ecardmodels. After that is out I need to go back and do some more work on the Goshawk........
