Emil Zarkov has a similar hangar planned (with all kinds of accessories). I cannot give you an ETA but It's definitely high in the priority list.

Paper model hangar kits would be an interesting thing to see.

We've had that DGA Aircraft Museum kit in the store for quite some time.
Its a nice setup.
One of the reasons I never bothered with my own Hangar kit.

As many of you know, I already offer three Airfield Accessory kits.
WW2, post WW2 and Modern stuff.
Looks like some of the accessories appear to be in cnhalfpap's display (above).

I did a Auto Garage Wall set (also offered at pm.com)...its a free download.
Maybe I should do up something for Aircraft display too?
Something a little simpler, but a free download?

But first, take a look at the DGA kit if you want something more complicated.

Just my experience with my hangar build .
Depending on the scale , say 1/33 .
If you want more than one airplane in it , or you want a multi engine model in it , the diorama will need to be big .
My diorama almost takes up the whole tabletop , of a four place table

Hi Dave.....aircraft hanger idea sounds good.....not sure where I can find the DGA Aircraft Museum kit you mentioned....is it on your website....I was looking for a smaller hanger model...your accessories are the kind of things I like.

WOW....didn't realize the diorama was that big....guess I should have realized your airplane models were 1/33 size....still a good looking presentation.

The DGA kits (Design Group Alpha) are available at ecardmodels.
I won't do any more promotion in that sense, since its just hijacking cnhalfpap's thread.
Just search for it over there please.

Yeah, thats the problem with creating something for 1/33 kits.
I actually created my Airfield Accessories in 1/50 scale, so things would fit on the page!
Scaling up is not too hard during printing with lots of small parts
but a Wall kit needs to be produced in the preferred scale right from the start.
Probably need to produce two kits, in both 1/33 and 1/50 scales?

I'll talk further with cnhalfpap about his design here.
Maybe we can collaborate and create a free Hangar kit.
Just got to make sure he is properly credited for this original design.
I'm kinda busy right now, so I don't want to design anything from scratch myself.
But maybe, with his permission, I could modify the design into a kit to share.

To go one step further with how big the diorama is .
It seems the hangar has drawn a lot of attention from local modelers .
They ask if I could bring to the monthly model meetings , so they can see it .
It wouldn't fit in the cab of my little truck , and would be stupid to put it in the bed , without a camper shell .
So I built a box for it , just got it finished .
There's the local model contest this weekend .
My hangar with either be entered in the contest , or on display table for people to see.
