Salom Mor,

long time and no updates on this....I am beginning to worry (for you, not the model).
Are you OK my friend, is everything all right?

Hope to hear from you soon,
Best regards.
Stormeagle.

Hello my freind,

Me and my family we are all O.K, thanks. Actually, looked at the previous post, and was suppraised to see that half a year passed.

Had a very bussy time at work with many extra hours, computer crush (was successful in recovering all the data), and some other time consuming issus...

With the Texan model, main part left is the canopy, with the mold already done. The La-5 is also waiting for the canopy, and started another model, that I need to start posting it.

I noticed that Shalom brought his partially built model to a show in March.

Here is a photo someone snapped of it:

Looks almost complete short of a canopy and propeller.

I think it is impressive work.

and
my friend in Israel took this photo of a formation aerobatic flight during their 70th independence day fly over last week.

A side question-paint scheme on this Texan looks a lot like scheme on Yoavs Tzukit jet trainer. Is this turboprop a direct replacement for Tzukit or new Aermacchi M-346 Master are ?

This (AKA Efroni) indeed replaces the Tzukit while M-346 (AKA Lavi) replaces A4 Skyhawks (AKA Ayit) in the advanced phase of jet fighter pilot training.

Hello all,

More than a year from the last posting, but at last the model is coming to the finish line...

The cockpit after many frustrated trails is done and assembled.

Last parts left to do - fairing at the tail, exhaust nozzles and a small intake under the nose.

Hope to post more soon,

Shalom Mor
