i had a little problem with my 1:30 SUPER MYSTERE and i could not fix it on the model because the risk is to high, so i decided to build another SUPER MYSTERE

i did a little contest in Israel, who will guess what is the little problem can get the first model as a present.

if you want you can guess too....i will give my answer in a few days.

I see you added a lower canopy fairing where it meets the fuselage.

On the left side, connected to the blending root (at least that's what I call it...) there appears to be a stain, hole, or coloring error making the incorrect one have a little dark spot. That's just my guess

the fairing is also at the old model, but you can't see it in those pictures becausi i took them before i added the fairing to the old model, so this is not the problem.

To me it looks like the wings were attached straight to the fuselage on the first one and with a slightly outward bend on the second one. So in the first model you can see the outline of where the wing should go but not on the second model.

Is anyone getting close?

yes, there is a little slightly, but things like that i can fix easlly and no need to build a new model.

In that case, I need to see a close up of the cockpit as there may be some differences in the ejection sea.

If there is any work inside the cockpit after you attached the canopy, there is a great risk of damage and that may be your reason to re do the entire model.
