It is prevent people from going back in, and editing/removing the posts entirely, and there by screwing up the flow of the thread

In addition to what Rick mentioned, its also to prevent members bullying others then editing the post after the intended person saw it. I think that has happened here before in the past....don't remember exactly...but I know it does happen on other forums.

Hmmm....I wonder then if an album is deleted, those photos can't be recovered. I've never tired deleting an album, only individual photos. I'll have to try one day to test the theory.

Well, at least the photos have been resolved for the threads.
