Did you increase the laminated bulkhead thickness or keep it at 1mm?

I measured the slots that needed to be cut out and laminated accordingly.

Thnx for the info. You have me looking at my Gremir library for a similar treatment - the Me 329 has the lead at the moment.

I have that bird as well. one thing to do to keep it smooth it to take some 800grit paper and lightly sand the formers smooth to help hide the frames structure. also one thing i learned is that its advised to run a cap strip over all the formers minus any on an edge near the gear boxes.
