Mystere IIc vs F-86 Sabre

In general the Mystere IIc and IVa can be compared with the F-86 A - E series. The only place they ever met in a fight was in the Indo-Pakistan war of 1965. In that conflict Pakistan claimed to have victories over Mystere IV's and Hawker Hunters by Pakistani F-86 pilots. One Pakistani F-104 Starfighter was shut down by Mystere IV !
I attach here pics of the Mystere IIc and the F-86 Sabre.

mystere IIc vs mig -15 bis vs f-86 E - Classics of the 50's

The early 50's represents the start of the golden jet fighter era. The mig -15 and the f-86 sabre
were the most popular and widely used jets of this golden era. In the Korean war they fought one against the other and the Sabre wone the battle with 1:9 kill ratio , mostly because the American pilots were more experienced as many were WW2 vetrans.
The mystere IIc belongs to the same class in terms of general performance and configuration. All the 3 had engine thrust in the 6000 lb class , max speed around mach 0.9 in level flight and cieling between 45,000 to 50,000 feet. Although the mystere IIc never encountered a dogfight with either of them he had a good chance as it's performance were mostly simillar. Again , as always the pilots level can tilt the balance to each side as it was proved in history of air battles.
I attached here photos of the 3 together - all in 1:48 scale. The f-86 E with the RAF colors and the mig -15 bis with the Yemen air force colors. The mystere IIc served only with the French air force and is colored with the metal silver paint of the 50's.

Thumbs up Me too ( soon )

I purchased the Model-Kom printed rendition of this model. I am considering building it shortly in its 1/33 scale.

I'm bookmarking Yair's build. For some reason, he went radio silent ?
