Cool Hello Dayton

I am finally settled in the Dayton Ohio area after my repatriation from Toronto Canada. I had a wonderful 2.5 years between Montreal and Toronto supporting the Bombardier Global 7000 supersize business jet engine installation.

and I had an even greater time meeting new friends
Here is my goodbye thread
Goodbye Toronto

Now , I'm on to my next phase and working in Dayton ( The birth place of American aviation ).

Moved in 2 weeks ago and our stuff was delivered mostly OK ( there was damage to things, but that is to be expected ).

Most of my models were in storage for years and I am only now unboxing some of them.

So here is the general set up of my work area and the old bookcase I used for my models.

I purchased them in Poland . I have a friend that brings them to me when he comes to visit.

Some I have mailed by friends.

Thanks Don

I just joined the local Dayton IPMS club and brought one of my paper models. Already had interest from 3 members and one that wants to start building. I will help them.

Next month, Cincinnati IPMS club is having their annual contest and I usually bring many of my paper models there.

I'm glad that all the models survived the move. The work space looks nice, but it's far to clean and organized. I hope you find many new friends out there.

Glad to hear your all, somewhat, settled in. Your shop area looks great, but no where as near as good as your finished models. They look fantastic.

I have not yet started working on anything, so my desk is not really operational.
