FG B17 Rescue

My Fiddlers Green B17. I flush joined most of the joins instead of overlapping them. Painted the Aluminium area's with Vallejo silver and using a black pen drew the panel lines back on. Paper clip gun barrels. Realized I haven't painted the astro bubble in front of the windscreens. I used a build up of glue instead of the paper one. It's not perfect but I'm happy with it. Also, just need to fit the small spinners to the centre of the props. Daryl.

That's a nice looking Natural Metal Finish and a nice looking model.

What scale did you build this at?

Well done,
Swampfox

That's a very fine build. Excellent finish. That ASR B-17 was a mighty pretty airplane and your model fully does it justice.

Nice work Daryl. The panneling looks great! Have you taken any of your models to the club at Hexham?

Robert

I'm impressed. Great finish and flush joints to boot. Congratulations!

I haven't gotten around to trying it. But, FG has a nice looking open boat that has a similar profile to the air dropped lifeboat the fortress carried.

Nice work! The bare metal look seems quite a challenge in card but you've nailed it here.
