I'm surprised you have not such good experience with UHU clear glue. The glue is not water based so it shouldn't make the paper soggy. I always use clear glue for attaching the frames to the canopy and it works fine. Maybe the paper was too thin or your glue did contain some water?

Yes, the frames were on thin paper and it got soggy from the UHU glue.

Thanks

I'm thinking of another Suchoi 7 by Hobby Model or take a break and build something easy.

Cool Reference books

I just got a few reference books that are useful in building Soviet aircraft.

"Soviet and Russian military aircraft in the Middle east" by Yefim Gordon and Dmitry Komissarov.

Nice photos and data.

Also, I found the subject Suchoi-7. However, the paint scheme is different.

And to counter it all, a book of Modern Israeli air power.

Cool My next project

I had so much fun building this Suchoi-7, that I am building another variant.

This one will be the Hobby Model Suchoi-7BKL in Polish air force scheme. That kit is much more advanced and is complicated and detailed.

It will take longer to build, but should be fun as well.

Here it is:

It looks great as always isaac. Now that it's all done it really shows how much your work has paid off
