Lockheed L-1011 TriStar Prototype

The next to appear is the Prototype. The use of chrome/silver paper on wings and stabs takes this model to a higher level. Mind you, in the stock build the wings and stabs are grey in colour. Enjoy the views, will ya?

Thank you guys. The silver paper that I used, like Red River, is no longer available as I have said in previous posts sometime earlier. I regret that I had not stocked up when I found it years ago in a close-up sale of a small printer shop. I had tried many silver papers and thought that it was another gimmick but it turned out much better than I thought. So, that's life, it's there when you don't want it but isn't there when you crave for it.

The prototype L-1011 is looking very nice. Guess I need to ad it to the ever increasing list of kits I want to build, someday!!!

Wonderful Model Papermate. I love the Metal finish. There is something about the Tri-Jets that make me smile.
