Short StirlingkI? scratch

Hi folks,

I'll do my very best. I begin with something which is small and overseeable.
The engine a Bristol Hercules with fourteen cylinders radial, two levels each with seven cylinders.

After some hours I get this.

Thank you, papermodelfan!

A very small progress, the cover of the cylinders.

You have done a really good job on the engine PG; the plane should be mighty impressive.

Hi all,

wow, what a resonance, thank you all!

@YOAVHOZMI, it could be cleaner, but it is the prototyp (in paper). The cooling ribs in the next version are thicker drawn (it is not so authenic, like these in the first post, but it looks more nice).

@MacSongLi, thank you for your appreciation.

@Hyair, "perfect" is something else. In the german forum "kartonbau.de" you can find the guy "fuchsjos". Actually he is building the F-16...I'am afraid he is building the reference model of this plane forever.

@elliott, You are right, it is a mighty queen (@manfred man), ca. 32 in in length and 36 in wingspan (scale 1:33).

@paperengineer, yes, it is daunting, that is the reason, why I use such fora to report about. Then it is harder to surrender and last not least if I run in problems maybe someone of the community knows a way out...
