Thank you Erik !
If the design is identical to the other aircrafts this will be easy to build the whole series. Haha good luck with the cabinets ! Here is some new pictures of the aircraft . Regards Ronan

Thank you Carlos and Gary , I highly recommend this model !

Hi everyone ! Yesterday and today I worked on the canopy.
First I built the paper one with tabs outside instead of inside. After I put hot glue to seal the gaps, and on the top to avoid a sag of the paper because of the water of the plaster . Then I filled with plaster. - Today I removed the paper by washing the mold with water. Well for now this is my best plaster mold. And I finally vacuformed the part. The first trial was nos so bad but there were folds on the plaster. The second time I succeeded ! Now I found the perfect plastic. For a better result I need to do better molds and not forget to sand them Here is the result (dry fitting on the last picture) Ronan

hi Ronan
for better result, you have to sand a lot and many times the mold until you get very smooth mold so the canopy will be as clear as can be. i send the mold under running water with Sandpaper no' 0 and i get very smooth mold like silk as you can see in this KFIR canopy mold and from smooth mold you can get very clear canopy hope i helped you YOAV |

Thank you Yoav for the advices !
Yep I need to sand the mold but I'm afraid to "dig" it, the plaster is pretty powdery What matter do you usually use ? Ronan

i am using white plaster, it is very easy to work with it and after 1 hour it become dry and strong enough to remove him from the paper canopy.
to make the remove easy, i spray oil inside the paper canopy and then i put the white plaster. the oil used as a buffer between the plaster and the paper canopy and makes the removing easier. but you have to know, the mold from the white plaster is a little bit fragile when it felt down or when it getting hit. good luck YOAV |

Thanks for the tips Yoav.
At least I already have the right plaster. My first mold has been broken by a fall (for the F-5N by the way). Now I know what to improve. Thank you again Yoav for the advices and the models . Ronan

about the oil..... i meant a spray of cooking oil....i don't know the effect of other kind of oils, like Engine Oil or Industrial oil on the white plaster....so take it in count. YOAV |
