Dassault Super Mystère B2 IAF - Yoavhozmi

Hi everyone !
Today I've started to build my first aircraft designed by Yoavhozmi which is the Dassault Super Mystère B2 in IAF colors at 1/30 scale.
The instructions are very clear so the building is much easier than the Mig-29
Here is some pictures of the seat construction .
Regards, Ronan

so far so good....i hope you will enjoy it.
good luck with it Ronan.

in fact the schema is of France Air Force.
this specific SUPER MYSTER remained with the original scema of France Air Force until the early 70' that he was painted with the IAF schema.

Thank you Isaac, Gary and Yoav ! :D
@Isaac Yup 1/30 because the Phantom, Kfir and Mirage III were already printed normally before discovering the real scale so all the series is printed that way. But it doesn't bother me, the difference is not so big.

@Yoav You're right ! I was thinking about a little repaint with French roundels but I had to build it with original colors first because all your aircrafts have the blue star in the white disk
Oh yes I enjoy it, the seat is beautiful aswell as the rest of the aircraft .

This is a "first" again for me:
-First time I build a model designed by Yoav and !
-I will try to perform a real vacuformed canopy with the device I built with my father.
Regards,
Ronan

Thank you PaperEngineer, I hope so haha! if it's the case this would be mostly because of the great design of these models.
You should try it too, this is a gorgeous aircraft.

Here is the last pictures from the factory, acording to the work cards the cockpit is done (for now) and I've started to build the engine exhaust, she is looking good, very realistic .
I'm a bit tired now, it's almost midnight here, I don't want to sleep in school tomorox

Regards,
Ronan

Hi !!
Today I finished the exhaust and I also started the rear fuselage.
The vents are already set.
I only need to add the formers and I will be able to glue the three parts together.

Here is some pictures

Ronan

Thumbs up

More progress on the Super Mystère .
The rear fuselage is now over.
This is pretty astonishing, the model is simple and very detailled .
Good job on it Yoav !

Hi Ronan,

Looking good so far! I see a lot of similarities between the model design of your Super Mystere and the Mirage. Not much progress on my side lately though, needed to hang those Ikea cabinets on the wall to create space for displaying my models.

Looking forward to the canopy vacuuming, that'll be new for me as well and still need to build a device for that. Got some ideas though and would be interesting to learn from your experience.

Keep up the good work!

Cheers,
Erik
