To be fair, please see the photo to compare if the engines are too forward as commented by TangoVFR. Though built in cans, the scale are compatible with that designed by Murph. The Qantas image has been horizontally reversed for comparison purposes.

Cool! If you look at the exhaust end of the engine it's just a little shorter than the front of the engine on the Quantas picture compared to yours made from cans. (Which is still very cool.) I looked at some photos and Q400 with Westjet the wing is almost in the middle of the engine length.
Thanks for posting.
Did you use glue to build it or something else? What glue worked best for the can plane?

Well, it's for Murph to review.
The glue I use is CA glue, a sort of watery instant glue.

Hello! Despite necroposting, I am not a commercial aviation expert, I just tested the construction, but went to look at my model and actual airplane pictures, and the difference did not seem so significant. I suggest getting in touch with the designer who is active in this forum, and send evidence or drawings of the airplane to point out the error.

I agree. The nacelles are not positioned properly in this kit. Needs correction.

A lot of it depends on the 3-view I used for to design the model. In general, I try to line everything up according to that 3-view. Unfortunately I lost all of the info on that particular model, other than the finished model files.

Check out post #16 on this thread. The wing as designed IS too far aft.

Then who's right, Murph, Knife on the position of wings and TangoVFR on the engines?
As the designer, Murph, you have to either stand corrected or insist on YOUR design!
