And... some pictures.

I'm thinking how to make the propeller spin, already did the hole into the radiator.

I'm thinking about custom-making the exhausts and piston fairings, that are printed in the original model.

Well I assembled the fuselage, the glued lower wing, added a seat, the piston fairins and the control panel.

The real control panel was horizontal, instruments scattered over a shelf, but I installed the wrong vertical one instead. I'm still unsure about it but it's too late now.

The propeller is painted and placed, spins perfectly.

There are no pictures, sorry, maybe this weekend

The assembly is going fine.

The propeller, the cockpit, the wheels, all finished.

I made the engines exhausts, but couldn't place them because I need to buy black paint. So, I'll glue them tonight.

And the exausts are painted and glued, the machine guns too, the inter-wing spars made from sanded steams of grass and glued... I forgot to paint the black stripes!!!! ((/%$$%). Too late :-(

Now just remains to install all the wing and tail wires... and voala!

Not sure if my new plane will be a Tiger Moth or a J-35 Draken

Almost finished!

I placed the spars over the engine, the ones making a "H" between the wings and the ones under the stabilizer (this ones painted sky blue)

And now, really, just the wiring remains. How I'm going to include them near the cockpit? good question.

In the pictures, my three paper models so far, with two WWII fighters in plastic at the same 1/2 scale

After a lot of time dedicated to finish my 1/700 CV-6 Uss Enterprise, I started to place all the inter-wing wires.

I'm estimating to finish the fine knit the next saturday.

Still don't know which will be my next plane, right now I'm doing a 1/350 Uboat and a 1/700 Hms Belfast, so...

Awww, the fighters are really cool, but I was expecting a large scale naval vessel! Funny!

And... placing the wires.

The tail seems to have all the wires by inside, so just the wings and landing gear. Hope to finish this night.

douglasmarrel, this is not a fleet of ships, but you can see part of my new Uss Constitution at 1/700 scale. So far I have made eight ships in paper, plus a LOT in plastic.

The Spad 13 is finished!

The wiring was easier than I thought.

Next airplane will be a Beech Bonanza V36 at the same 1/72 scale... mmm... maybe I must start a new thead? It's not a fighter nor WWI!

Looks good. What did you use for the rigging?

And yes, a new thread would probably be best.
Or the thread title could be changed to "1/72 Scale planes" or something like it.
