And the Fw-190A is finished. I couldn't make the propeller turn, had to let it fixed. The cone was the more difficult part of all the plane.
As a test, the plane was a success. I stay convinced that I can mix paper, plastic and stickers.
I made the swastika with a black pen, and the white lines of the eagle with a fine point made with stretched plastic.
I'm including the color cart showing the RLM 74,75 and 76 used in this model.

By the way, my next model is already started, this D.H.82 Tiger Moth.

The "group picture" includes some contemporaneous friends (Fw-190D-9, P-51D and P-38J) made in plastic and some "material friends" made in paper (Camel and Spad 13)

One has to look pretty close to see it is a paper model. I'd say your technique of molding the paper works very well, and this is only your first attempt at using the method.

Like yourself, I also enjoy hand painting models.

Well done!

Thanks, Yeti.
I'm already making plans for a J-35 Draken, specially the J35 Dragonknights as made by stahlhart papercraft. You can see many Drakens (and anothers) in
Stahlhart Papercraft – Paper Models of Aircraft, Buildings and Figures
It looks a wonderful free page.
Meanwhile I'm making the rest of the Tigermoth, I expect to finish it this weekend.

Very nice collection you are building!
Yes, it looks like one of the memorable models by Zio.

Yes, it is a Fabrizio Prudenziati paper model. A lot of his planes are in my "to do" list.
Well, the wings are finished, and I'm starting the fuselage.
You can see that I improved the curvature of the wings, the fuel tank and the oil tank on the left side of the fuselage. You can see the inner reinforcements to keep the floor and sides of the fuselage as flat as the real plane is.
The inner fuselage will be painted natural silk, meaning cream.

Advancing the assembly. I had a small problem with the wall reinforcements, it made the cockpits walls slighty wider than planned by Zio, so I had to think to fit the seats.

As you can see, the flight panels are installed, and two windshields that I made with acetate. The lower wing is placed, and the elevator and rudder too.

This plane is becoming one of my favourites, not only because the original model but by the assembly and detailing.

Ok, I took some time yesterday to place the upper wing.
As you see, the interplane struts were made with a layer of paper over a layer of cardboard and remade to better resemble the real plane.
The silver sheet of paper is another experiment I'm doing, I want to know how will look a paper model where paper is prepainted BEFORE being printed. In this case, another J-35 Draken, (this one will be "bare metal"), was printed, finger painted and will be reprinted over.

I was going to finish the Tigermoth this weekend, but I couldn't find the sewing wire I use to emulate the interplane wires.
And, found a mistake in the Prudenziati model: the upper wing of the real airplane doesn't have alerons!
So, next weekend I'll put the propeller, the wires, erase the wrong alerons, and include the tube protruding under the engine.
