Thanks, Michael
It's been... a lot of days. There were two reasons: first, the engine cover must be hammered aluminium, and I couldn't find my aluminium paint. Second, once I found it, I had already started my models of the RMS Mauretania and Lusitania (see the ships section)
So, there is a little delay. The good news, I already have an Albatross V printed and I'm resizing a De Havilland Mosquito to 1/72 scale for hand painting like I did with the Fw-190a-5.

At last I took a minute to continue with the Eindekker.
Usually I would have used Testors glue to make the landing gear, but there is not plastic glue in Venezuela, so I'm using paper glue that is more difficult to use in plastic and wood parts.
Anyways, you can see the landing gear, the complex landing gear, the most complex I have seen after the one used by the F4F. By the way, the instructions are difficult to understand, it's better to find some pictures before you start the assembly.
You can see that I painted the cowl, and well... once the landing gear is finished then the rest will come easier. I'm planning to paing some joinings with natural silk color, meaning pale yellow.

That is a rather complex bit of landing gear 'specially using Elmers with wood and plastic parts. You're doing good though.

Nice work Draco. I've got another of Zio's Eindeckers (the Turkish one) printed off in 1/100 so watching your build with interest.

Regards, Garry G.

Thanks, Garry.
The plane is almost finished, just need to do the machine gun and the miriad of cables.
As you can see, I'm doing the Lusitania and the Mauretania at the same time. But the eindekker will be finished the next weekend.
Another good news, I've already printed one DH Mosquito, one Me 262 Schwalbe and one Ju-88 at 1/72 scale. And a Zeppelin at 1/700 scale.

I see that you are very busy with all that, and you already have more waiting, great. Good job in that Fokker

Thanks, Sergio
I painted the border of the fuselage, but I'm still feeling uneasy about it. Probably I'll cut the gap and glue it again to improve the realism of the model.

Many times I have had to correct mistakes that I made, deformations or details that did not convince me, it is difficult but with patience it can be achieved. Even today I have improved the finishing of my constructions and I am very satisfied, I always find a defect. I did not stay perfect or be a model of exposure the feeling that gives to see how a sheet of paper is transformed into a model is incomparable. And it always improves and learns something new, that's why I'm passionate about this hobby. A greeting, I hope the end of the Fokker

Ok, the Fokker Eindekker is finished. I corrected the comb in the fuselage, and placed the machine gun and the wires.
Primaversi made the instructions with only part of the wires, the plane has more under the wings and inside the landing gear. In fact, the reason for this strange landing gear is that it serves as wing support too.
About the exagerated curvature of the wing, I'm sure I saw some pictures of the original planes like this, but now I can't find them... meaning that I made a mistake. Well, I know what I'm going to be straightening this weekend. :-)
My next plane will be an Albatross DV, a Mosquito or a Me-262, all of them already resized and printed.

Looks great Draco. Getting the wing curvature correct on ANY WWI subject is a challenge. I wouldn't fret too much about trying to fix it- none of our creations are perfect and your little Fokker is still an impressive build.
